A Child’s Wisdom, A Love That Transcends Time

Some people come into our lives like a bright, passing light—brief, yet powerful enough to leave a mark that never fades. Even at a young age, our niece carried a presence that felt bigger than life itself. She wasn’t just a child; she was a messenger, a teacher, a radiant soul with a purpose.

She had this way of moving through the world, her confidence effortless, her presence magnetic. The way she walked, talked, and carried herself—there was no denying she was special. It wasn’t just charm; it was something deeper, a rare gift. She had a way of making everyone around her feel seen, loved, and important.

But what stood out most was her understanding of something we all struggle with—Heaven.

She spoke of it as if she had already been there. She didn’t just ask what it would be like; she played it out, acted as if she was already part of that world, gently preparing us for the day she would return home.

"Give up your sin."

Those were the last words I remember her saying from her hospital bed. With the little strength she had left, she sat up, looked around at us, and spoke with the kind of certainty that made us stop and listen. She wasn’t scared. She wasn’t bitter. She knew where she was going, and in her final moments, she wanted to make sure we would find our way there too.

She looked at each of us, holding on as long as she could, offering one last embrace—one last chance to feel the love she poured so freely.

Even as she prepared to leave, she made sure we felt secure, comforted, and whole.

A Love as Pure as a Fairytale

One of the most beautiful things about her was her deep love for the Yellow Knight. It wasn’t just admiration—it was devotion. She stood by him, supported him, and cherished every moment they spent together. It was as if she was showing us, through their story, what love should be.

Her presence at so many Medieval times events wasn’t just about playing dress-up; it was something more profound. She was teaching us patience, loyalty, and how to stand beside those we love, no matter what. She lived love in action, and through her, we learned that true love is steadfast, gentle, and enduring.

When she spoke about Heaven, it wasn’t with sadness or fear—it was as if she was already there, just waiting for us to catch up.

Visions of Love That Never Fade

One of my most cherished memories with her was when she asked me and my husband, "When are you getting married? I want to be part of it."

We looked at each other and smiled. I shrugged, "I don’t know."

With the kind of confidence only she could have, she grinned and said, "Well, I know you will be married, and I want to be there."

And she was right.

Though she wasn’t there physically on our wedding day, I felt her. I knew, without a doubt, that she was walking down the aisle as one of our flower girls in spirit, gently tossing petals, her smile as bright as ever.

But her vision didn’t stop there.

One day, she gathered us around the dining table and introduced us to her angels—ten of them. She spoke of them as if they were standing right there beside us, each one unique, each one with a purpose.

Though we couldn’t see them, we didn’t question her. We just listened.

One of those angels left such a deep impression on us that we named our second child after them. Other cousins now carry the names of the angels she introduced us to, a lasting reminder of the moment she shared with us.

She left us with one simple, powerful instruction:

"Never separate."

It was more than just a plea to stay close as a family—it was a lesson in love, in faith, in what truly matters in this life.

She taught us that love isn’t about distance, time, or even life and death. Love is eternal.

Visions of Love That Never Fade

💛 Love doesn’t end—it transforms. She may no longer be physically here, but her love remains. It’s in the memories, in the lessons, in the way we carry her spirit forward.

💛 Faith is seeing beyond what’s in front of us. She saw Heaven before any of us. She knew joy beyond this world and made sure we felt a piece of it while she was here.

💛 "Never separate." Stay close to those you love. Prioritize family, friendship, and the relationships that bring meaning to your life.

💛 Devotion is love in action. Her unwavering support for her Yellow Knight wasn’t just about admiration—it was about commitment, patience, and true care. She showed us that love is not just felt—it is lived.

💛 Children often hold the deepest wisdom. Sometimes, the ones we expect to teach are actually the ones meant to teach us. Listen to them. They see the world with a clarity we often lose.

Her light hasn’t dimmed. Her love hasn’t faded.

And her words—"Never separate"—will forever echo in our hearts.
