As moms, we’re always juggling a million things at once—work, school, activities, and somehow keeping the house from falling apart. But every so often, we pause and think about the memories we want to create with our kids.
So when we asked our children for their ultimate bucket list, we quickly realized just how big their dreams were—and how ready they were to make those dreams a reality.
Here’s a look at the top 6 extreme bucket list items our kids came up with:
✔️ Visit the place my husband and I had our Philippines wedding
✔️ Omega World
✔️ Super Nintendo World at Universal Studios
✔️ Watch an actual SpaceX launch
✔️ Travel to Europe: Paris & London
✔️ Go to Mars (yes, really!)
Now, as a mom, hearing these ideas gave me a mix of excitement and… well, total shock. Some of these destinations are huge, expensive, and (let’s be honest) a little overwhelming to think about. But after the initial surprise wore off, we realized these are the kinds of adventures that make memories for a lifetime—and if we could make them happen, why not?
Our First Adventure: Omega World
The first item on our bucket list? Omega World in Las Vegas.
At first, my husband and I had no idea what this place was. All we knew was that our kids were obsessed with it. They saw the memes, heard the songs, and couldn’t stop talking about it. I’ll admit, I had my doubts, but hey, if they were excited, we were in.
The Road Trip to Vegas
Any mom who’s driven long distances with kids knows the struggle:
🚗 Endless snacks
🚗 Bathroom stops every hour
🚗 The classic "Are we there yet?" about a hundred times
But when we finally arrived at Omega Mart, I was stunned. It looks like a regular grocery store on the outside, but once you step inside, it’s like entering an alternate universe.
A World of Surprises
There were so many strange, quirky, and downright bizarre things to explore. My kids were completely captivated, running from one section to another, their faces lighting up with excitement at every corner.
I won’t spoil it for you, but let’s just say it’s unlike anything we expected. What started as a weird idea turned into one of our favorite family experiences.

It’s one of those trips they’ll talk about for years to come.
The Lesson for Moms: Trust the Process
As moms, we tend to be planners. We like knowing what to expect, having everything lined up, and feeling in control.
But sometimes, the best moments come from stepping out of that comfort zone and trusting the process—especially when our kids are leading the way.
